Special Features

In-company Training
In order to avoid the inconvenience of travelling to a language institute, and to save valuable working time, all training takes place in-company (or at an alternative location which is convenient for the student).

Intake Procedure
Each intake consists of an interview, which can be carried out either face-to-face or by telephone. The idea of the interview is to determine the needs and the level of the student. A 30-minute time slot is allocated to each interview. Face-to-face interviews usually last between 15 and 25 minutes. Telephone interviews last approximately 15 minutes.
A language competency level is assigned based on the student’s performance and in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). If necessary, or requested by the client/ student, a report is written.
 
Studio 1-2-1 = Free Intake
Studio 1-2-1 participants will receive a free intake, including a report, providing a course is booked as a result. If a course is not booked, the intake must be paid for.

Gemini & Select Group
In order to ensure that students of a similar level are grouped together, it is imperative that participants for the Gemini and Select Group training courses do an intake. A group report with recommendations is provided. Naturally, such intakes are charged for.

Island Hopping / Speedback / Video Sessions
Intake = optional.

Tailor-made Programmes
All training is tailored to the needs of the student(s). A Study Programme outlining the subject material to be covered during each session will be designed for the
Studio 1-2-1, Gemini and Select Group courses. Study Programmes will be supplied at no extra cost.

Progress
Progress is measured by the trainer, who judges how well the student has performed in tasks and activities throughout the training. A CEFR end-level is allocated and a certificate is awarded, free of charge. If required, for a fee, a progress report can also be provided.

Post-training Support
Following participation in a course, students will be able to consult Topaz English regarding any English language questions they may have. This support is for a limited period (to be determined per client).
